We have an exciting permanent opportunity working for our client who are a financial advising company based in Chelmsford. The opportunity working as a Compliance Officer is offered on a part time basis working Monday to Friday, 16-20 hours per week.
Duties for the Compliance Officer role:
* You will have the opportunity to have overall responsibility for the day-to-day compliance of the business using SimplyBiz.
* Responsible for updating compliance records, plans, the FCA register and maintaining compliance records.
* Ensuring staff are informed of any new relevant regulations and updating staff in monthly team meetings.
* You will also be responsible for co-ordinating compliance file checks with SimplyBiz and Financial advisers.
* Responsible for Advisers by undertaking KPIs and Development action plans. Ensuring their CPD/SPS is up to date and signing off Compliance Remedial work advisers complete.
* Charing Senior Management meetings.
Requirements for the Compliance Officer role:
* Knowledge of SMF16, Simplybiz, FCA.
* Excellent communication skills
* Keen to learn with the ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of Word and Excel
Our client is flexible on how the hours are worked each week and could possibly offer a Hybrid option.
